A Saber Fencing Blog Built From Real Competition
I fence, I compete.
Now I'm sharing everything I know.
Hi, I'm Lucas - welcome to my fencing blog. I've fenced for seven years, and this is where I document everything I'm learning about saber fencing—from my first local tournament to becoming a referee.

Competition recaps
After every tournament I write what went right, what fell apart, and what I'm fixing. No highlight-reel edits.

About me
Quick Version

I started fencing at seven. My first tournament was a disaster. The second was slightly less of one. Somewhere in that gap between losing and learning, I fell completely in love with the sport.
Seven years later — national ranking, Summer Nationals top 6, Team USA at Pan Am Youth, B Rating. It came from showing up, every time, even when it wasn't going well.
